What makes it different

It listens. So the minutes are real.

Most reading logs record what a child says they read. LitLog follows along as they read aloud, highlighting each word and pausing the timer when the room goes quiet.

Three strictness levels — Easy is most forgiving, Medium is balanced, Hard expects an exact match.
Auto-pause after about 30 seconds of silence, so idle time never counts.
English and Tamil today, designed to scale to more heritage and regional languages.
Nothing is recorded. Speech is matched on the device and never uploaded.

Our story

From a school science project to a real product

LitLog began as a student innovation project by Manasvi Yuvaraj, answering a problem she saw in her own home: reading logs nobody wanted to keep. It won first place at the Mansfield Innovation Expo — and then it kept going.
